The organisers would be grateful if all walkers note the following rules in the interest of safety and consideration of all participants.

Waterhead Bay, Lake Windermere
The walks are open to everyone. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult throughout the event.
Dogs are welcome but must be on a lead at all times.
No bikes or powered vehicles allowed.
Checkpoints must be visited in the correct sequence.
Walkers must carry their number card with them throughout the walk. The numbering system is essential to ensure that everyone who starts is accounted for at the end of the day.
Anyone wishing to retire must notify a Marshall and hand in their number card.
Walkers are asked to carry a OS Outdoor Leisure 7 English Lakes SE Area Map; carry a compass & whistle; to wear clothing and footwear suitable for the walks; to observe the country code and to carry a first aid kit.
Please note the carrying of collecting tins/buckets is not allowed.
Please note that all walkers taking part in these walks do so at their own risk. The Rotary Club of Windermere, it's Officers and Members and Windermere St Anne's School shall not be liable for any injury, damage or loss however caused. Agreement to this is a condition of taking part in the walks.
